Barcelona, 2013 (Fuji Neopan 400)
This is Marta, who I met at a couchsurfer’s meeting in the Gràcia neighbourhood. She has started working and living in the heart of the city, and told me about the intricacies of her scientific pursuits. I left with a niggling feeling that I did not get a good shot of her with the low lighting, but was unable to meet her again for a second try.
And your dream?
Be a good scientists and be able to improve people’s lives.
The best thing that has happened to you?
To have someone have trust in me and what I am capable of.
One thing you would like to change? (It can be about anything)
The mentality of this country.
One thing you don’t want to change? (It can be about anything)
Right now my life.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
Favorite things about Barcelona?
Multicultural and a lot of things to do.
Things you don’t really like about Barcelona?
The dogs on the streets.
(Marta went on to explain that what she could not stand was how the streets would be defected and stinking of urine due to some irresponsible owners…)
